Hello, I’m Lisa Blackman. I first moved to Folksworth 22 years ago and married Paul who’s family have farmed in the village for generations. Although not born into farming I have developed a real passion for agriculture and am heavily involved in working for the family farm, alongside my husband and his father John. You will see our cattle and sheep on your way from Norman Cross to Folksworth.
I am also a mother to three older teenagers who are all either farming or sports mad. I can often be found standing on the side of a cold, muddy rugby pitch (PRUFC) or at a horse event. Usually with camera in hand as photography is my hobby, especially sports photography.
I became a parish councillor about ten years ago, I thoroughly enjoy being part of such a great group of volunteers
