ABOUT FOLKSWORTH AND WASHINGLEY

Folksworth and Washingley is a small parish to the west of the A1M at Norman Cross in Huntingdonshire. Surrounded by farmland it is a rural community with a Primary School.

Folksworth & Washingley Parish Council

Good morning. I have a question for you all. We are looking at the possibility of having an open gardens day in Folksworth Washingley & Morborne, similar to what Stilton did this year. The hall will be involved as will both churches, the Friends of Folksworth School, the Art Group and the Ladies Circle. Tickets will be sold at a central point, flower festivals at the churches, refreshments and art show in the hall. Possibly other things, who knows. It will be only for one day though. What I need to know, are their enough people in the villages who are willing and able to open their gardens to the public? The profits will then be split equally between the groups involved.
