I wanted to get in touch to update you on our upcoming project in Folksworth. We’re still planning to start construction work on 27 June 2022 with our site compound set up starting on the 13 June.
Our team will work in 200metres sections of the road at a time, digging a trench, inserting sections of the pipe, joining them, and then backfilling and reinstating the section of road before moving to the next. To keep our team and the public safe we need to implement phases of road closures:

There will be no through traffic and a clearly sign posted diversion route will be in place for road users which has been agreed with the local highway authority and an expert traffic management company.
Please note, the road closure dates overlap so we can progress to the next section without needing to pause work and may change depending on progression of work. Access will always be maintained for residents who live within our closure from one direction or the other.
Letters and email communications will be sent to local and wider residents in the next few weeks.
