Annual Parish Meeting – May 9th, 2023

This year’s Annual Parish meeting will be on Tuesday May 9th at 7pm in the Village Hall.

The Annual Parish Meeting is for all electors of the Parish. It is not a meeting of the Parish Council. Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting however, only registered electors of the parish may speak and vote during the meeting.

Will I be able to ask questions and make suggestions?

Any registered elector may ask a question of the Council which will usually be answered by the Chair, the Clerk or the Council, or a designated Councillor. An elector may also make a suggestion and comment on anything pertinent to the residents of the Parish. This will be welcomed and is the whole purpose of the meeting.

The emphasis for this year’s meeting will be community wellbeing.  We are very lucky to have 2 resident first responders in the village and they will be on hand to demonstrate the use of the defibrillator and also to discuss ways of looking after yourselves and looking out for neighbours together with the staged system that is in place when asking for help.  They will also speak about the free first aid training, organised by the parish council and Village Hall which will be held on Saturday May 20, 2023.  You will be able to sign up for this at the meeting.
