It is with great sadness that we learn of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II during this historic year which marks the Queen’s 70th Anniversary as our Monarch.
Her Majesty was known throughout the world for her tireless and steadfast service and devotion to her people.
The Parish Council, together with our residents, wish to express our thoughts, condolences and prayers to the Royal family at this very sad time.
Arrangements are being updated continually but in the meantime, if you wish to lay flowers you may do so at the flag pole at the pond.
A Book of Condolence is now in place in the meeting room at the Village Hall. The meeting room will be open 7am til 8pm everyday until the funeral
EXCEPT Sundays when the door will be closed at 3pm to avoid congestion at the church service in the hall.
